About SHMD
The South High Marathon Dance is a charitable event that is held the first full weekend of March each year in South Glens Falls, New York. Students at South Glens Falls High School gather to raise money and dance for an amazing 28 hours. All money raised helps local individuals and charities.
This year's Marathon Dance will be held on March 6 and 7, 2026.
Important Dates:
- November 30th, 2026: Deadline for Marathon Dance 2027 Recipient Applications.
- Dancer Signups will take place on December 8, 2026. Be on the lookout for more information!
- NO Late Signups will be allowed
